Maxi ICA Special

ROL Fredbergs would like to proudly present our latest delivery to Maxi ICA Stormarknad at Torslanda. Maxi ICA Stormarknad sells so much more than their extensive food offer. ROL Fredbergs supplies shop fittings for the display of non-food equipment within the Hypermarket.

The shopfitting concept highlights a wide variety of products, from flowers, toys, clothing, home decor, media, kitchen equipment and in turn each departments concept design has been worked through to ensure that each product receives as good exposure as possible.

ICA Sweden and Hemtex launched Hemtex24h in the Autumn of 2019. An assortment of displays adapted to what customers want in the grocery store. The aim of the initiative is to create inspiration in stores and offer a wide range of home textile products with complementary home decor products. Hemtex24h's range will be available in selected ICA stores. Hemtex24h emphasizes the connection between food and decor. Our particular visual design taste controls us much when it comes to decor giving us the ideas of what we want to eat for dinner.

“Today's customers want to be met by new experiences in the store and be able to shop for both food and decor at the same time. We believe that customers will appreciate Hemtex24h that has a wide range of fabrics and home furnishings products that can be used in the home environment. This way we can make our day a little easier for our customers”, says Tony Holmberg, Special Manager, ICA Sweden.

ROL Fredbergs Project Manager Henrik Stahre tells a little about the project for the store in Torslanda and the new concepts for Clothing and Hemtex 24h. "ICA first selected six stores that would get the new Hemtex 24h concept and the new concept for clothing. This store was one of the stores that got the concept shortly after the summer this year. During the Autumn it has been a fast track roll-out and it will continue in 2020. There is always a lot of work to successfully deliver the first phase of a new concept, but when all designs, drawings, layouts, setup in ERP system, production equipment and routines are set, the project work goes into the normal supply process. It is about planning and coordinating forecasts, orders, production capacity, stock levels and deliveries based on the conditions we have agreed with ICA. We have a well-functioning process and organization that takes care of the day to day business and I focus more on new development activity.
